These are the last photos I've tagged as favorites into my Flickr account.
This is an actual photo. Every screen is showing exactly whats behind it - relative to the camera, which was on a tripod. See from a different angle
The most difficult task was to convince the old powerbook 180 to show a simple jpeg.. netscape navigator 3 did it.
Inspired by all those.
Autumn light through Beech hedge.
Autumn scene taken many years ago, and one of the few I posted to Flickr from then. I wonder if it still meets with the kind approval it got at the time. I took 4 shots of this scene at the time, and have posted 3 of them.
Do you feel comfortable about reposting old stuff? There are so many millions of people who won't have seen it, and this seems a way to re-present.

Don't know why exactly but this is one of My Favorite photographs from the many. Perhaps because when I view it I can smell the Ocean air...feel the breeze and the sand under My feet.
Sorry....had a very, very, long day.
Here is one more shot of the balloons. Honestly I wasn't really happy with any of my shots but since I got up so early for this, I felt like I had to post a few just to feel like it was worth it :) This was taken right after the sunrise launch over the Yakima river. Thank you for any comments, faves, notes (esp from Aaron), critiques, jokes and love in general. Okay, I am really heading to Banff now, really. I will be back online on the 12th and looking forward to getting lost in your photostreams then. :) Explored, highest position #2, thank you!
Just before midnight on Saturday 20th of March the glaciated volcano of Eyjafjallajökull erupted. The eruption is on the popular hiking route over Fimmvörðuháls and luckily it is where the glacier is very thin so no destructive flash floods came rushing down the mountain side.
When I arrived at the scene around dinner time yesterday the weather was really foul, heavy rain and wind with no mountains visible. I decided to drive further into the mountains to see if things would get better. Then it started to clear up as the sun went down.It was an awesome sight. I have never really seen a erupting volcano before.
I am restless now wanting to go again and this time closer. To get closer I will need to bigger 4x4 than my Suzuki. Getting to those mountain ridges near the volcano would render the most awesome shots.
This shot is taken from Syðra Fjallabaksleið which is a mountain road leading into Fjallabak. This road is now closed to all traffic as rivers from the volcano have started to swell.
Reykjanes, Iceland
This is my best shot at Aurora this year. Yet again I have not been that luck. While I was away in Thailand the skies where quite clear with periods of very active aurora. Now I am back and its thick clouds every day now.
Shot last January on a very windy night, the Aurora was very active so the managed to illuminate through the fast moving clouds. The yellow/redish light on the lower left side is light pollution comming from Reykjavík.
